Welcome

With such a wealth of literature to write about there are posts here on a wide range of topics. The posts are all tagged to help you find what interests you.

When I started off, I wrote some short pieces on where to get books, with a few thoughts on borrowing and buying them. There are posts on books for the very young, and a series about introducing fairy tales and other classic literature. My children were quite young when I started, and the posts reflected my experiences with them. As the children have grown, the posts are changing too. I also remember many books from my own childhood well and some of those I’m starting to share with my children, I may add in other book-related thoughts.

.I have persuaded some lovely other people to write guest posts for me, and you can see profiles of my guest contributors. And there are reviews of books – mostly books I love, very occasionally books I loathe, and some in between.
